Precision Drilling Australia is pleased to announce the commencement of a major Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) geotechnical investigation for an exciting new client and lithium development in Western Australia’s Pilbara region.
Rig 5 and our experienced field team are delivering a comprehensive ground investigation programme designed to provide the high-quality geotechnical and hydrogeological data required to support engineering design and the future development of the proposed facility.
Scope of the Geotechnical Investigation
The investigation includes:
- PQ3 diamond core drilling and sampling
- Standard Penetration Testing (SPT)
- Undisturbed in-situ sampling
- Single and double packer permeability testing
- Detailed geological and geotechnical data collection
- Borehole grouting to project specification upon completion
